Description : We are seeking a proactive and analytical QA Engineer/Lead with a strong background in both automated and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in API automation and a deep understanding of quality assurance within an Agile environment.Key Skills & Expertise : The candidate must demonstrate proven proficiency in the following mandatory areas : Automation & Tools : - API Automation Expertise : Strong, demonstrable experience in automating tests for web services, particularly using SOAP UI (including Groovy scripting or similar languages for complex scenarios).- REST API Testing : Proven ability to test, validate, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs using tools like Postman (or similar platforms like Insomnia).- Automation Frameworks : Experience in developing and maintaining robust, scalable automation frameworks (e.g., using Java/Python/Selenium/Cypress for UI, if applicable).Manual & Functional Testing : Manual Testing Proficiency : Strong background in comprehensive manual testing, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.Test Strategy : Ability to design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.Data & Analysis : SQL Proficiency : Good knowledge of databases with the ability to query SQL tables to validate data integrity, backend processes, and transactional results.Strong Analytical and Critical Thinking : Exceptional ability to break down complex systems, identify edge cases, and perform root cause analysis for defects.III. Core Responsibilities : - Agile Collaboration : Actively participate in an Agile/Scrum environment, including planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, ensuring quality is integrated throughout the SDLC.- Test Execution : Execute comprehensive automation and manual test cycles, analyze results, and effectively report defects and progress.- Documentation : Maintain and update all test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.- Process Improvement : Recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and overall QA strategy to enhance efficiency and quality.
