Position: Rigging SupervisorIndustry: Petrochemical / Oil & GasJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Rigging Supervisor with extensive experience in rigging and lifting operations within a petrochemical plant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising rigging activities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and leading a team to execute lifting operations safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate all rigging and lifting operations at site. - Ensure that all lifting activities are performed in compliance with safety and HSE regulations. - Interpret lifting plans and provide guidance to the rigging team for proper execution. - Inspect rigging tools, lifting tackles, and accessories to ensure they are in good working condition. - Assist in crane selection, load calculation, and lift planning for various operations. - Oversee rigging of rotating and static equipment, piping, motors, and valves. - Operate and supervise use of EOT cranes and mobile cranes up to 500 tons. - Maintain records of lifting equipment inspections and work permits. - Train and mentor team members in safe rigging practices.Requirements:- High school graduate with a valid Rigging Certificate. - 7–10 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations within the petrochemical industry. - Strong understanding of Permit to Work systems and HSE standards. - Skilled in rigging operations for mechanical, piping, and equipment installation works. - Experience in EOT crane operation and handling cranes up to 500 tons. - Ability to lead and supervise a rigging team effectively. - Good knowledge of rigging tools inspection, crane selection, and standard hand signals. - Intermediate proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). - Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
