About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining backend applications using Java Spring Boot and a microservices architecture.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions on the AWS cloud platform.

This is a long-term project where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain backend applications using Java Spring Boot.

- Implement robust and scalable microservices architecture for complex business functionalities.

- Develop and maintain well-defined APIs to facilitate seamless communication between services.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines leveraging AWS services.

- Participate in code reviews, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements to maintain code quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure application uptime and performance.

- Create clear and concise technical documentation for developers and future reference.

- Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives following Agile methodologies.

- Work collaboratively with other developers, designers, and product managers to achieve project goals.

- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java Spring Boot and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

- Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture.

- Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.

- Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines (ideally in the AWS cloud) using tools like Jenkins or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with project management tools such as Confluence or Jira (a plus).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
