Description : About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and Django to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with payment/fintech companies and be passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python/Django.- Work on integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, and financial services.- Ensure system security, scalability, and performance optimization.- Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.Requirements : - 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer.- Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.- Prior experience in payment/fintech domain (mandatory).- Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).- Knowledge of payment systems, PCI compliance, security protocols, and transaction workflows.- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Nice to Have : - Experience with Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).- Understanding of data security, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance in fintech.Why Join Us? : - Opportunity to work on impactful projects in the payments and fintech domain.- Collaborative and growth-driven work environment.- Competitive compensation and benefits.- Remote Flexibilty with Hybrid working model (ref:hirist.tech)
