We are implementing the Epicor Kinetic ERP system to drive efficiency, enhance decision-making, and support our growth objectives. We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager – ERP Implementation to lead this transformative initiative.


Role Overview

The Project Manager – ERP Implementation will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the ERP system. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, working closely with the chosen implementation partner, and ensuring the ERP system aligns with JREW’s strategic objectives.

This individual must possess a strong ability to transcend beyond the boardroom into the shop floor, engaging with both leadership and operational teams. A critical focus will be on the creation, integration, and management of data and workflows, ensuring seamless communication between design, production, and operational functions.


Key Responsibilities


Project Management:

  • Develop and manage a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure the project stays on track, within budget, and meets deadlines.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with internal teams across production, procurement, engineering, finance, and other departments to understand requirements and align ERP functionalities.
  • Coordinate with the ERP implementation partner, ensuring deliverables are met as per the agreement.
  • Act as a bridge between the leadership team and shop floor operations, ensuring alignment of goals and hands-on involvement in execution.


Engineering Data and BOM Management:

  • Oversee the creation, integration, and validation of engineering data, including Bills of Materials (BOM), routings, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accurate data entry into the ERP system, enabling efficient resource planning and production scheduling.


System Configuration and Testing:

  • Oversee system configuration, customization, and integration to ensure it meets JREW’s needs.
  • Lead system testing, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and address any issues.


Change Management:

  • Develop and implement a change management strategy to facilitate smooth adoption of the ERP system.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support during the transition.


Risk Management:

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Regularly update leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in ERP implementation (Epicor Kinetic experience is a strong plus).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, engineering data creation, and BOM management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across leadership, engineering, and shop floor teams.


Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and project management tools.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to navigate challenges from strategic planning to operational execution.


Certifications:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
