Role: Dispatch Manager
We are an Interior Decor company that we deals with the production and sale Acrylic Sheets, Alabasters, Charcoal Panels, Epoxy Resin, Louvers, Flexible Louvers, Mirror Acrylic Sheets, PU Stone panels, Rattan Cane Webbing & Much More.
As a Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our dispatch department, ensuring efficient and effective dispatching and scheduling of services or products. You will oversee the routing and tracking of deliveries, manage dispatch staff, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and excellent service. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to make quick decisions, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities of the dispatch department and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage, train, and evaluate dispatch team members, ensuring a high standard of work and discipline.
- Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
- Coordinate and direct the movements of goods, vehicles, services, or people.
- Use dispatch software to monitor routes, analyze job orders, and efficiently dispatch services or products.
- Communicate with other departments and customers to determine priorities, assign jobs, and resolve conflicts or issues.
- Maintain records of calls, dispatches, and other information related to the operations.
- Ensure all workers and operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor driver performance and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of dispatch activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in dispatch management, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of dispatch processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and databases.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
