Description

Job Brief: We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with a strong understanding of financial technologies to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our product. You will join a team who work collaboratively with developers, quality assurance, product manager, and end users.


Job Responsibilities

Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.

Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.

Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides.

Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.

Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.

Create and maintain the information architecture.


Key Skills

- Graduation in any stream (preferably IT) with 1 to 5 years of experience in Product Management Group, IT Governance or Technical Business Analysis role

- Able to understand and articulate the IT Risk associated with Release management and implementation of SDLC (Software development lifecycle)

- Knowledge and understanding of Java/C++/SQL will be preferred

- Understanding of unit testing, UML/Class will be an added advantage

- Candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills


Desirable Skills

Requirements:


Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.

Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.

Excellent written skills in English.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.


Excellent communication and writing skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to write for a technical and non-technical audience.

Familiarity with financial products and the fintech industry.

Experience with documentation publishing software and coding/scripting languages is a plus.

This role requires a balance of technical knowledge, writing skills, and an understanding of the fintech sector to effectively communicate complex information in a user-friendly manner.


Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred


Experience

2 years of experience in Technical Writing with Software or Product documentation

Good Communication skills
