AWS Python Full Stack Developer


About the job :

Job Description - Senior Software Engineer (Python, AWS)

Required Skills :

- BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science, or computer applications or related degree.

- 6+ years experience in software development.

- Solid grasp of object-oriented design and design patterns and practices.

- Mastery of several programming languages and frameworks, covering the full stack (such as SQL, Python, C#, Java, Angular, JavaScript, etc)

- Working knowledge of general database principles and preferable experience in MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.

- Experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems, and Docker containers.

- Experience with cloud-based architectures and patterns, such as AWS and Azure.

- Automation toolsets such as Git flows, CI/CD, unit-testing, UI testing, static vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, etc.

- Time management and prioritization of work/deliverables.

- Self-motivated, work independently and in a team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Cross-team collaboration, ability to coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure deliverables and priorities are well-aligned.

ISO, FDA or other regulated industry training and experience desired.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable and secure full-stack web applications using Python and modern web frameworks (e. g. , Django, Flask).

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services to enable seamless data exchange.

- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and others to build and deploy cloud-native applications.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth, JWT, and AWS Cognito.

- Optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and database tuning.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack, from front-end UI to back-end services and infrastructure.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
