Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Conversion:
  • Actively follow up on leads generated by the BDEs through tele-calling and data extraction.
  • Meet with potential clients in person to present and promote Maleo Foods' frozen snack products.
  • Understand client needs and tailor product offerings to match their requirements.
  • Close sales deals by building strong relationships with clients and ensuring client satisfaction.
  1. Field Work:
  • Visit retail outlets, grocery stores, and other potential customers regularly to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide samples as needed to help clients make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals.
  1. Lead Management:
  • Collaborate with the BDE team to ensure seamless transition and follow-up on qualified leads.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the database of leads and ensure proper documentation of all interactions.
  • Provide timely feedback to the BDE and sales teams regarding the quality of leads and suggest improvements if necessary.
  1. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and new products in the frozen snack segment.
  • Use this information to strategize sales pitches and identify new sales opportunities in the retail segment.
  1. Sales Targets & Reporting:
  • Achieve weekly/monthly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue goals.
  • Report progress, sales performance, and challenges faced in the field to the Sales Manager regularly.
  • Provide insights into customer feedback and market trends to help refine sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in field sales or a similar role, ideally within the retail or FMCG sector.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and close sales in a business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle field visits across assigned regions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with the frozen food or snack segment is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of lead generation tools (Google, JustDial, IndiaMART, etc.) is beneficial but not required.
