About the Role:
- We are looking for a passionate and driven UPI Product Manager to lead and grow our Unified Payments Interface (UPI) products.
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our UPI offerings, including strategy, development, implementation, and optimization.
- This role is crucial for driving digital payments innovation and ensuring our UPI solutions deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and drive the UPI product roadmap aligned with overall company goals, market trends, and customer needs.
Customer:
- Focus: Understand and anticipate customer requirements, pain points, and needs through research, data analysis, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Product Development: Work with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to manage the development lifecycle-from ideation to launch-of new features and enhancements for UPI products.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data insights to make informed decisions about product prioritization, feature enhancements, and overall product direction.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all UPI products are compliant with regulations (NPCI guidelines, RBI policies, etc.) and maintain high standards of security to protect customer data.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing support.
- Partnerships: Identify and build relationships with strategic partners, payment processors, banks, and other stakeholders to enhance the product's reach and efficiency.
- User Experience (UX): Advocate for and implement best practices in user experience to ensure the UPI product is intuitive, fast, and user-friendly.
- Performance Tracking: Define, track, and optimize key performance metrics (KPIs) for UPI product adoption, usage, and satisfaction.
Must Haves:.
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in product management, with at least 1-2 years focused on digital payments, UPI, or FinTech products.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of UPI protocols, NPCI guidelines, and the digital payments infrastructure.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and feedback into product requirements and enhancements.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate product strategy and technical details to diverse audiences.
