About the role/Job overview:

The GM - Business plays a pivotal role within a company, overseeing the online sales and presence of the business. This position is critical as it entails managing the brand's image online, enhancing product visibility, and driving sales through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the P&L responsibilities of the Company's E-Commerce Business
  • Define overall strategy and ensure that it is in line with the company's vision
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential key accounts.
  • Devise and execute the revenue generation plan.
  • Build strong relationships with alliance partners to improve traction and branding.
  • Lead and develop the e-commerce team
  • Innovative ways of building brand awareness and focus on growing business.
  • Responsible for the pre-launch and post launch strategy for the ecommerce business.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key accounts in the BPC sector
  • Responsible for driving Primary & Secondary Sales, Operations, Inventory, pricing, and gross margins for the Channel. Develop strategic plans to boost sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to drive growth initiatives and improve market share.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent revenue service.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Stay updated with latest industry trends and competitor activities.


  • Increase Market share for the brand and at the Category level.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and issues.
  • Ensure to maintain commercial hygiene for the channel.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Min 5 Years of Experience in E-commerce, Should have min 2 years exp in Q-commerce (Managing Blinkit /Zepto /Instamart/Big Basket).
  • Proven experience in key account management, preferably within the Q-commerce or retail sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
