Role Purpose : Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware, Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative, Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration, Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software and Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

 

 

 

·        Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions

·        Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.

·        Trouble-shoots and solves problems related to hardware, software, and network problems

·        Researches and recommends acquisition of network hardware and software

·        Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs

·        Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed

·        Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

·        Conducting regular system audits.Regularly check, organise and control the IT and electronic data operations.

·        Ensure that all the data, network access and systems are secure and protected.

·        Timely renewals of software licences, upgrades, firewall, anti-virus, hardware insurance.

·        Work towards the user’s needs by identifying problem areas and implement solutions quickly.Ensure all the end users of ERP system are trained on the system. 

·        Maintaining authorization matrix in ERP as per guidelines

·        Regular update of company’s website and company offerings, events, milestones, achievements sharing on company page on social sites like LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
