US Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a US Accounting Assistant to manage general accounting and financial processes of our company. You’ll be responsible for all daily accounting tasks. You’ll prepare payroll schedules and records and you’ll contribute to various accounting tasks, such as updating payroll files. You will also carry out relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to clients via calls, email and handling invoices).Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.Responsibilities.. Maintain and update accounting records and files

Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns

Answer employee questions concerning payroll

Participate in payroll audits

Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes

Reconciling financial statements

Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments

Identify and address discrepancies

Reconcile bank statements

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures

Previous experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role

Understanding US local and governmental rules about payroll

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

Attention to detail

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

Knowledge of an accounting information system is a plus

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Degree in Accounting; MSc is a plus

Additional Information

Only onsite local to Warangal and must work on USA EST Timings.
