Delivery Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Delivery Manager to lead, coordinate, and drive the successful delivery of software products and services. This role is pivotal in ensuring that project goals align with business objectives. The Software Delivery Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, product management, and stakeholders, to ensure high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
oOversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-friendly delivery.
oDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
oIdentify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and implement mitigation strategies.
oOversee the successful delivery of products and services, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that support business growth.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
oLead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among developers, testers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
oMentor, coach, and guide team members to improve performance and delivery outcomes.
oAct as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to align expectations and deliverables.
oMotivate, inspire, and guide team members to achieve individual and team goals.
oAct as the go-to person for team support, fostering a culture of collaboration and trust.

Client Support & Engagement:
oProactively address client concerns and ensure their needs are met with exceptional service.
oServe as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
oManage expectations and gather feedback to ensure alignment with business goals.
oFacilitate effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved.
Problem Solving & Decision Making:
oQuickly identify and resolve challenges that arise in product delivery, client relationships, and internal processes.
oAnalyze complex issues, propose actionable solutions, and implement them effectively.
oCollaborate with the technical manager to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical standards.
oTroubleshoot and resolve delivery issues as they arise, minimizing disruptions to project timelines.
Product Knowledge & Improvement:
oAcquire in-depth knowledge of our products and services to provide insightful support to clients and team members.
oContribute to the continuous improvement of product offerings based on client feedback and market trends.
Process Improvement & Agile Practices:
oPromote and implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to improve delivery efficiency.
oContinuously optimize delivery processes, removing inefficiencies and enhancing productivity.
oEnsure adherence to quality standards and best practices across all project phases.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:
oBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
o6+ years of experience in software delivery, project management, or similar roles.
oProven experience managing medium to large-scale software projects and cross-functional teams.
Technical Knowledge:
oFamiliarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile, Scrum principles.
oUnderstanding of modern software tools, platforms, and cloud technologies.

Soft Skills:
oExcellent leadership and people management skills.
oStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
oExceptional organizational and time-management skills.
oProblem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

Certifications (Preferred):
oPMP, PRINCE2, or similar Project Management certifications.
oCertified Scrum Master (CSM)
