Job Description

Role: Power BI Developer, Corporate Banking

As a member of the Data Science practice, you will be a key player in our advanced AI & ML engagements tailored for the investment banking sector. You will develop dynamic visualizations and interactive dashboards to support our Proof-of-Concept (POC) initiatives and deliver full-scale solutions for our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards to visualize data insights.
  • Integrate data from various sources such as APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Continuously refine the user interface based on banker input and feedback.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of dashboards to handle large datasets.
  • Deploy dashboards on a Power BI server to ensure high availability and performance for a large user base.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to support machine learning model visualization in dashboards.
  • Provide self-service BI capabilities through interactive dashboards for end-users.
  • Create documentation for BI processes and deliver training to internal teams and clients on Power BI usage.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a BI Developer role, preferably within financial services.
  • Expertise in Power BI and proficiency in creating complex, interactive dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of data integration from various sources including APIs and databases.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience deploying and managing dashboards on Power BI servers for large user bases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with other BI tools and platforms.
  • Experience working with financial datasets and understanding investment banking metrics.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Science or Engineering (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.).
