Job Title: Power BI Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team at SDNA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI, MicroStrategy, and other related tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and MicroStrategy
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations, including charts, tables, and maps
  • Optimize query performance and suggest improvements
  • Implement row-level security and understand application security layer models in Power BI
  • Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop
  • Review and recommend PBI capacity configuration and sizing
  • Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence
  • Set up and automate Power BI platform-related activities using scheduled refresh, subscriptions, and Power Automate
  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentation
  • Knowledge and experience in DBMS/Azure/SQL/DB2
  • Conduct testing of solutions developed and assist in validating outputs, troubleshooting, and supporting existing solutions
  • Experience in Agile development methodology
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Power BI and MicroStrategy product suites
  • Experience with MicroStrategy security models
  • Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and data visualization
  • Expert experience with Microsoft Power BI Development and extensive knowledge of Power BI Service
  • Experience in writing complex queries and expressions
