Job Description: Assistant Manager (Retail EBO Accounts)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team and oversee the financial operations related to our retail Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in managing accounts payable, vendor reconciliation, expenses analysis and financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

 Preparation of Monthly Management Information System (MIS) and presentations to provide insights

into financial performance.

 Internal controlling of books of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

 Manage the recording and analysis of expenses related to store retail and franchisee vendors, including

rent, CAM (Common Area Maintenance), commission, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract),

maintenance, service, etc.

 Reconciliation of vendor accounts to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.

 Managing the payment process for vendors and franchisees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement

of funds.

 Coordinating with auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and support as required.

 Preparation of monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for retail stores to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

 Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for EBOs & Track budget performance against actual results, investigate variances, and provide explanations for deviations.


Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA / MBA or equivalent certification preferred.

 Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on retail accounting and financial management.

 Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across

teams.

 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.

 Knowledge of retail industry trends and accounting best practices is a plus.
