Strategic work profile:


The Chief Sales Officer/ Business Development Leader will be a key part of the senior leadership team of ABEC and will be responsible for defining and executing the right strategy for ABEC's business development activities while ensuring its fit with the company's broader vision and ambition.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Prospecting:

  • In the capacity of an individual contributor, formulate a strategy in prospecting to develop high quality sales leads
  • Build longterm relationships with prospect exhibitors from the architecture and building material sector to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Attend Industry relevant/ competitor shows/ exhibitions to study industry trends

Conversions:

  • Accountable for sales numbers and revenue with agreed profit margins through own conversions
  • Study past participants of our previous exhibitions and devise a plan to convert the inactive exhibitors
  • Focus on retention strategies for existing exhibitors
  • Study the competitor landscape and formulate plans to attract potential exhibitors

Targets:

  • Annual individual contribution of 1015 crores to topline revenue/ growth
  • Drive Sponsorships worth 1Cr
  • Responsible for YoY growth of 25% in revenue
You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Proven track record of on boarding corporate accounts
  • Enterprising. Ability to build long term relationships with prospective customers

  • Independent Thinker. Able to formulate sales targets
  • Passionate about building and owning initiatives in Corporate sales correction inputs at all times

Qualifications:

MBA

Experience:
years in B2B/ B2C sales

Location:
Delhi. The role involves extensive travel across the country.
