Role

Client Delivery Manager (CDM) is a critical role from SAP ECS - APJ & GCR organization, who acts as a trusted advisor in the safeguarding and optimization of customer 's investments into SAP Enterprise cloud services. CDM governs customer relationship management from a delivery perspective, while advocating for the customer and bringing the power of ECS to enrich customer experience.

What you'll do

As a project manager, you are primarily responsible for the project management of key deliverables of CDM team in Asia Pacific region. Key expectation and tasks of your role are:

• Accountable for end-to-end project management of client delivery and non-technical projects of CDM team in APJ region.
• Ability to successfully manage individual large-scale, strategic and/or high-risk projects using their extensive industry and SAP implementation experience which must include participating in project planning activities and managing projects according to plan.
• Relationship management with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients.
• Regular progress tracking and reporting and meet expectations on all project requirements and deliverables. Ability to illustrate the project tracking and success through numbers.
• Perform Project Reviews and mentor/guide team members on project management methodology, standards, and processes.
• Proactive and result oriented mind set to explore and improve the existing business situation through continuous improvement projects.
• Demonstrate ability to make recommendations to senior management with recommendations of ways to decrease costs, improve performance, improve reliability and consistency.
• Strong offshore and strategic partnership skills.
• Ability to manage and influence matrix organizations.
• Team coordination and assist/support with team management.
• Organize meetings, Manage correspondence and support with administrative tasks of CDM management team.
• Experience in working for a global company including being part of a globally dispersed, multi-cultural diverse teams

What you bring

Required skills

• 8 plus years of IT industry experience in Project management
• 2 plus years of experience in doing project management for SAP projects.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information management
• Excellent project management skills to handle projects and issues efficiently.
• Facilitating and leading initiatives and programs which includes effective interaction with senior management.
• Excellent presentation and data driven illustration skills.
• Result-driven mindset and ability to complete the assigned tasks on time with good quality.
• Ability to manage escalation at senior stakeholder level.
• Demonstrate relationship management competences.
• Experience in managing cross-cultural teams or individuals.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English to effectively communicate and escalate Issues.
• Solid know-how on various SAP Technologies, SAP products and Hyperscalers.
• Capability to continuously acquire new knowledge and latest technologies in an independent, proactive way.
• Optional skills: ITIL Certification

To manage projects and optimize and improve the quality of delivery of CDM role in APJ region, ECS organization is looking for talented project managers with prior experience in project management and technology areas. Within the Customer Services and Delivery (CS&D) board area, the mission of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) organization is to pave the path for the future SAP by delivering end-to-end Managed services experience during a customer's cloud transformation journey.
