CoreStack is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in SQL, PowerBI, and paginated reports.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data models, optimizing data pipelines, and providing insights through visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and storage
Building and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
Creating and maintaining data models that support business requirements and enable accurate reporting and analysis
Developing paginated reports using PowerBI or similar tools to present insights in a clear and actionable format
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions that drive business outcomes
Identifying and resolving data quality issues to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building data models and ETL processes
Proficiency in SQL with experience in complex query optimization and performance tuning
Strong experience with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools, including the creation of paginated reports
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
