Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Designer UX (product designer) will be an integral part of the CoreUX IKC design team. This role will lead efforts to design and define interactions which will engage our customers. At the core, this role will transform unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful product launches. This role will work to create a best-in-class customer experience for United's interactive touch-points, , United app and mWeb digital experiences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and design solutions that meet user needsCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate your vision and demonstrate your design thinkingConduct research through competitive analysis to gain design insights and usability testing to validate your designs identifying areas for improvementWork closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented to the highest standards and for accessibility successUse data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of your designs and iterate to improve resultsDesign sophisticated UI visuals from concept to execution

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in BA/BS or equivalent proven work experience requiredStrong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and processExamples of sketches, workflows, interactions, and end state workUp-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies4+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on digital products and servicesExperience designing for complex user workflows and interactionsExperience with WCAG accessibility standardsStrong knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative SuiteFamiliarity with front-end development and an understanding of technical constraints and possibilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsAbility to create wireframes as well as visual design compsDesign experience for both web and mobileExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPositive attitude and be able to work effectively in a teamStrong sense of accountability and drive to get resultsHigh attention to detail but able to work quickly to meet deadlinesAbility to solve problems creatively and effectivelyMaintain a user-centered approach in design perspective and practiceMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
