Associate Vice President Loyalty Alliances / Partnerships

As the Associate Vice President of Loyalty Partnerships, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic partnerships within the loyalty program ecosystem. You will play a crucial role in expanding our loyalty program's reach, enhancing member engagement, and driving revenue growth through effective partnership collaborations. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent relationship-building abilities, and a deep understanding of loyalty program dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the loyalty program space, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, financial institutions, retailers, and other relevant industries.

- Negotiation and Contracting: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial terms and agreements that align with our business objectives and drive value for our loyalty program members.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, serving as the primary point of contact for partnership-related activities. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of partnership initiatives.

- Program Enhancement: Continuously assess the performance of existing partnerships and identify opportunities for program enhancement and optimization. Develop innovative strategies to leverage partnerships to enhance member experience, drive member acquisition, and increase member retention.

- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective partnership activations, including co-branded promotions, cross-promotional campaigns, and other revenue-generating initiatives. Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics to track ROI and identify areas for improvement.

- Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics related to loyalty programs and partnership marketing. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential partnership prospects.

- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of partnership professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Set clear goals and objectives, and empower team members to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or related roles, preferably in the loyalty program or travel industry.

- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and enhance customer loyalty.

- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiation and management.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive results.

- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

- Flexibility to travel as needed.
