You are invited to take on the role of Deputy Delivery Manager in the Finance Services department located in Bangalore, India, operating at a global grade 11 level. Reporting to the Accounting and Reporting Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks within the General Accounting (GA) team, including reporting, consolidation, and compliance with internal and external regulations.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead global service delivery for assigned countries, meeting targets for productivity, cost, customer satisfaction, and SLAs while ensuring smooth transitions
  • Spearhead the delivery team in accurate and timely accounting for Intercompany transactions, fostering a culture of professionalism and change management
  • Drive operational efficiency and performance metrics, oversee people strategy including hiring, retention, training, and development
  • Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations, review financial transactions, and collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and analyze inter-company account reconciliations, participating in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Your background
  • Hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • Bring over 10 years of experience leading global teams in the manufacturing industry or audit firm
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of US GAAP and inter-company accounting principles
  • Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO & MM Module, AP workflow tool, Microsoft Excel, and office suite applications
  • Experience managing teams of 30-40 employees and willingness to work in shifts
