Senior Research and Development/Product Development Engineer

Job Overview:

  • Conceive original ideas for new products and bring them to life
  • Manage product development from market definition to production release
  • Assist in selecting quality suppliers for new products
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing on designs
  • Create detailed product documentation
  • Collaborate with teams in various fields of expertise

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cost-effective products to meet market needs
  • Drive product development and scale-up processes
  • Conduct product verification and qualification testing
  • Ensure product compliance with safety standards
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers
  • Provide technical guidance to the engineering community

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Design
  • Minimum 9 years of design experience
  • Expertise in Terminal and Plastic interconnect products
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with wire termination techniques
  • Familiarity with industry specifications and standards
  • Hands-on experience with simulation and rapid prototyping
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to mentor and coach technical teams
