Job Overview

TE Connectivity's R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams are responsible for the creation and implementation of new product ideas. They oversee the entire product development process from concept to production, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout.

The team also conducts feasibility studies, tests designs, and provides all necessary documentation for the products.

Areas of expertise within the team cover materials, mechanics, electrical systems, optics, chemistry, software, automation, testing, and manufacturing of components.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in proposing product ideas for customers
  • Create and modify CAD models and drawings
  • Collaborate with the Simulation team
  • Update product specifications
  • Evaluate product quality and produce inspection reports
  • Implement design changes based on feedback
  • Resolve technical issues
  • Conduct design verification and refinement
  • Create validation plans and documentation
  • Analyze prototype samples
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 1 year of experience in Product Engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD systems, interpreting engineering drawings, and product prints
  • Knowledge of design principles and validation processes
  • Familiarity with prototyping methods and product lifecycle
  • Basic understanding of quality tools and materials design
