Engineer - Change Order Co-ordinator

Job Summary:

By joining us as Change order Coordinator you will Plan and Ensure customer change order process timely and latest requirement flow to respective sections for necessary changes.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• This position will be responsible for functions related to the tracking, coordinating, and implementing of manufacturing change orders and deviations through Oracle.
• Responsibilities also include aiding in problem resolution and ensuring implementation of all released change orders and deviations.
• Work with production team and Customer Service and IPM to understand the changes and/or requirements.
• Serve as liaison for processing minor system holds and progressing orders appropriately.
• Review of change order cheat sheet yearly. Coordinate within Chennai team members, COC team & OE.
• To ensure part orders schedule timely in system. Coordinate with CS & IPM if there's any shorter lead-time orders for revise request delivery date.
• To perform data updating into MPS tracking file & analysis for improvement if metrics below target set
• Promote importance of safety, communication timely and encourage team members participate in safety activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
• Experience with business systems.
• Basic knowledge on Control Valves assembly, testing and Instruments function.
• Identifying parts and return to stores for issued components.
• Coordinate with internal team for Change order process on daily basis.
• Able to work under pressure condition.
• Close coordination with Buyers to expedite material and support CO process.
• Knowledge on Oracle
• Generate monthly reports and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of valve industry
• Having strong experience to handle the team of unionized workmen.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to successfully apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
• Oracle ERP working experience.
