Description
Responsible to provide leadership and direction to F&A and compliance function which includes accurate and timely financial reporting, financial planning, Cash flow management, budgeting, cost management, implementing strong financial controls, treasury management and providing decision support to the Management in enhancing shareholder value
Strategic Financial Planning & Support
Participate in long term business planning for organisation and provide financial analysis for the same
Develop a strong Financial strategy for the organisation to maximise profitable returns, and increase shareholder value
Develop the financial strategy in structuring deals and participate as required on deal closures and execution of deals
Tax planning
Develop strong financial matrices in line with industry for a strong decision support system
Ensure support to new ventures/ diversification along with strategic value add
Business Enablement
Act as Financial Counsel to the SBU Heads and guide them on risk management
Provide value added financial insight and information to all CXOs to enable better management
Closely monitor implementation of strategic business plans for any impact on financial results
Proactively look at financial risk mitigation strategies
Financial Management
Institute cash flow management & priority policy at all SBU and at corporate levels
Ensure the financial health of the company through appropriate financial planning and management
Ensure monthly, quarterly, annual closure of books and accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting/MIS to all stakeholders (management, shareholders, lenders, regulators etc.)
Lead the company's budget preparation process, and monitor its implementation & utilisation
Institute and implement budgetary control processes to control costs, monitoring profitability and planning cash flows
Responsible for all statutory compliance under direct & indirect tax laws on time.
Serves as the custodian of all statutory and internal audits, as appropriate
Instituting robust systems and processes to enable financial control and monitoring and reporting and enabling automation
Stakeholder Management
Strategically manage key stakeholder/investor relationships where required
Team Management
Build a competent team with relevant knowledge and skills;
Performance management of the team and ensure productivity and performance targets are met
Provide positive leadership to team; Support employee development
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- Over 15 years of overall experience in the Accounting & Finance department with leadership experience of at least 5 years
- Open to Pune as a location
- Candidate should come with experience - dealing with Property and Real Estate Development industry
