Description

  • Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. Provide leadership and coordination in the Finance and Accounting, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company.
  • The Head of Finance /CFO will be a key member of the Executive Management team will supervise the finance unit and will be the chief financial spokesperson for the organization.
  • Overseeing the entire accounting function and ensuring timely accounting closures and preparation of financial statements as per IND AS and IFRS.
  • Responsible for ensuring financial controls, compliance, and governance within the organisation.
  • Keeping a keen eye on the business fiscal performance through MIS, analytics and driving course correction as required.
  • Report financial results to the board of directors and investors.
  • Advise on the financial perspective, cash flows and cost controls of new businesses and contracts.
  • Responsible for Direct & Indirect tax planning, management, and adherence to statutory compliances.
  • Responsible for setting up processes and controls to support business growth.
  • Ensuring treasury operations and managing relationship with banks.
  • Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company.
  • Responsible for all shareholder reporting requirements
  • Lead in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility of the Head of Finance/CFO is accounting, budget planning and control, cash management, treasury, and tax handling functions. The Head of Finance/CFO directs all finance- related strategies, initiatives, and activities for organisation- wide financial accounting and reporting.
  • Responsible for directing an organisation's overall financial policies and management of investors along with investor reporting.
  • Collaborate and extensively engage with the CEO and other members of the senior management and Board of Directors in creating the strategic road-map for the organisation and long-term value for all stakeholders.

Profile

Experience:

  • CA with 15-20 years of experience with at least 5 yrs. in senior leadership roles in a company.
  • Experience of working in listed companies from FMCG/Consumer/Pharma/Chemicals or allied spaces
  • Should have a strong executive presence and an ability/experience to deal with senior members of the board
  • Should have a strong experience of working in listed companies handling financial hygiene listed company compliance
  • Strong exposure required in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, audit and internal controls
