ExxonMobil's presence in India

ExxonMobil's offices in India are located in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and the National Capital Region, supporting our Product Solutions business. These affiliates are instrumental in marketing, sales, and distribution of high-performance specialty products in the chemicals and lubricants sectors. The India teams also play a strategic role in business planning and analytics globally.

In addition, ExxonMobil's LNG affiliate in India offers consultancy services to upstream affiliates and spearheads LNG market development initiatives. The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides crucial technical and business support services for ExxonMobil's global operations.

Your role in our team
  • Be the Business Line(BL)'s main point of contact, collaborating with BL teams and managers to stay aligned with business priorities
  • Engage effectively with Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) or Global Operations & Sustainability teams to deliver valuable work products
  • Work closely with Managed Service Provider(MSP) analysts, providing oversight and subject matter expertise
  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance SSHE (GO&S) processes, systems, and tools
  • Ensure stewardship and KPI measurement are coordinated across various organizational levels and regions
Responsibilities
  • Review and validate data from reports and multiple sources for accuracy and completeness
  • Extract data from SSHE or GO&S systems for regular and ad hoc reports
  • Interpret data, perform statistical analysis, and deliver timely reports
  • Facilitate data validation in GO&S applications with key stakeholders
  • Analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights for informed decision-making
  • Contribute to advancing data and analytics strategies
  • Evaluate and recommend database and analytics technologies for optimization
  • Drive development, deployment, and maintenance of advanced analytical solutions
  • Respond to data inquiries using various communication channels
  • Coordinate data collection to support SSHE (GO&S) processes
  • Maintain familiarity with SSHE (GO&S) Guidance Documents
  • Lead and coordinate relevant SSHE (GO&S) Networks
Your qualifications

Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or fields related to Safety, Environment, Sustainability with a minimum CGPA of 6
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, modeling, and visualization
  • At least 3 years of experience in statistical analysis and deriving data insights
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting data integrity issues
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across regions and cultures
  • Demonstrated experience in leading groups towards common objectives
  • Experience in coordinating efforts and teams across different organizational levels and regions
  • Comfort working independently and adapting to varying schedules
  • Expertise in MS Office Applications with a focus on Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including PivotTables, VBA, and complex formulas
  • Experience with statistical languages like R, Python, and MS-SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Familiarity with data modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques
  • Experience in engaging with international clients virtually or in-person

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, NLP, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong team player with exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and proactively identify and address issues
