Senior Manager - IT Product Support


What can you expect?

  • Project Resource Management:

Leads the End-to-End Resource Onboarding, Management, and Budget Governance

Develops and mentors project managers and other project team members to defined standards for resource governance and tracking

Project Portfolio related Administration in PlanView tool

  • Financial & Budget Management:

Maintains and ensures governance for IT Budgeting & Forecasting

Acts as a leader accountable for financial accounting and client satisfaction

  • Practice Development:

Works closely with senior stakeholders and manages internal projects, initiatives to drive transformation across the organization

Utilizes and continuously improves standard processes to achieve productivity enhancements through application of repeatable best practice methodologies and optimal resource management.

Champions teamwork, knowledge sharing, and contributes to the project management community, methodologies, and best practices.

Ensures effective execution and management of projects in the large MMC Tech project portfolio

Coordinates with senior management on innovation forum of various technologies generating greater client value

  • Stakeholder Relationship:

Serves as the primary contact for stakeholders maintaining close communication to ensure delivery to schedule and issues addressed

Focuses on Service Level Agreement (SLA) definition and customer satisfaction. Ensures information systems and structures are in place to achieve SLA

Manages high stakeholder relationships with both onshore and offshore teams throughout the various transition stages

We will count on you to:

  • Engage with stakeholders on various activities like budgeting, forecasting & actuals evaluation, and resource management
  • Act as an escalation point for the Leadership team
  • Possess strong accounting and financial principles
  • Define project scope, create and maintain a consolidated timeline with major milestones and associated dates. Identify and communicate project dependencies and impacts. Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage expected project outcomes
  • Create metrics and reports to drive accountability
  • Provide input and feedback to key leadership about process improvement opportunities. Ability to mediate and make pragmatic compromises, especially when multiple Stakeholders compete for resources

What you need to have?

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Hands-on experience working with Planview is a must
  • Strong communication, analytical, and management skills
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial practices
  • Effective and timely reporting skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word)
  • Ability to multitask and be a self-starter
  • Capability to handle challenging client situations and develop strategic solutions
