JOB PURPOSE:


The Chief Executive - Petrochemical Complex plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management, administration, and manufacturing operations in Maharashtra.

The primary responsibilities include achieving targeted production volumes, ensuring plant maintenance, controlling fixed costs, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Additionally, the role involves providing strategic guidance to the Board, mitigating risks, optimizing costs, and enhancing reliability improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop organizational and people strategy, aligning with production plans, workforce requirements, and risk assessments.
  • Lead operations strategy implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive reliability improvement initiatives to minimize risks and optimize costs.
  • Oversee manufacturing processes to achieve budgeted price, volume, and quality benchmarks.

Site Operations:

  • Administer site operations including jetty operations for raw material transportation, ensuring achievement of production targets.
  • Govern quality standards, ensuring 100% compliance with business guidelines.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives in process, operating expenditure, and equipment maintenance to enhance productivity.
  • Monitor production, productivity, breakdowns, and quality reports for timely interventions.
  • Lead civil projects and contract negotiations, ensuring cost-effective execution and compliance.

HSE, IR & Admin:

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines, aiming for zero LTI incidents.
  • Drive sustainability and ESG initiatives for optimum resource use and environmental compliance.
  • Implement security protocols to safeguard personnel and assets.
  • Represent the organization in industry collaborations, advocacy, and regulatory compliance.

People and Leadership:

  • Cascade performance objectives to the leadership team and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Define and implement people objectives for the organization.
  • Champion digitization and automation to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Define and drive the mission, vision, and culture of the organization.

REQUIREMENT & SKILLS:

Minimum Education Qualification:

  • MBA/B.E. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

Minimum Experience (in years):

  • Good to Have: years of experience in endtoend factory operations in petrochemical or allied industries, with at least 5+ years in an executive position encompassing manufacturing, ESG, finance, people leadership, and strategic planning.


Must Have: 20+ years of experience in end-to-end factory operations in petrochemical or allied industries, with exposure across manufacturing, ESG, finance, people leadership, and strategic planning.
