You will be working as Service Manager at Global Grade 11, reporting to Local Division Manager for Motion business area, Traction division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for Implementing service strategy and drive service growth locally at the respective local unit level. Leading the service organization and responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of service resources
Your responsibilities- Providing Technical Support to service team for commissioning, service engineering and site engineering of rolling stock product i.e. IGBT based Traction converter, Auxiliary converter and VCU in 6000 HP Electric locomotives like WAP-7, WAP-5 and WAG-9 and 180 KVA Static Converter for conventional locomotives i.e WAG-7 to our service team & Customer at CLW, CLW and DMW
- Negotiating, finalizing AMC and Spare order, handling all techno commercial issue, managing customer relation
- Ensuring compliance with HP and customer's HR, PR, legal, financial, ethics and government related policies, strategies and processes
- Supporting sales, tendering during pre-order for technical feasibility and cost estimation
- Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates
- Investing in improving the quality of existing service products and in developing new service products to expand the portfolio in line with global direction
- Conceptualizing and implementing services plans and procedures for the organization, ensuring accomplishment of business goals
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 12 plus years of experience in rolling stock product Indian Railway i.e 3 phase electric locomotives and EMU
- Team leading capability and excellent communication skills
