The goal is to become the most preferred F&B platform for families by un-junking their favourite food & beverages.

Open Secret is currently available through their website at , multiple ecommerce platforms, and across offline stores Pan India where they sell their entire range of un-junked snacks along with other partner brands including; Nutty Cookies, Nutty Chips, Flavoured Nuts, Nutty Shake Mixes , Chocolates, Nutty Spreads etc.


About the CEO and Co-Founder :


Ahana Gautam, CEO & Co-Founder at Open Secret, is an experienced operator with a passion to build and grow the biggest consumer brands in India.

She is currently building Open Secret with a mission to make every Indian family snack better by un-junking their favourite food and beverages.

She has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Started her career at P&G where she worked across multiple functions - supply chain, finance and marketing.

Ahana grew her passion for food brands at General Mills in the US where she launched natural and organic products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including timely filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy of tax calculations, and adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the Goods and Services Tax (GST) process, including GST registration, invoicing compliance, filing of GST returns, and handling of GST audits.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, identifying and addressing any areas of non-compliance.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax planning initiatives and resolve any tax-related issues.
  • Manage the accounts receivable (AR) process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Supervise the accounts payable (AP) process, including vendor payments, expense management, and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records related to tax, AR, and AP functions, maintaining proper documentation and records retention.
  • Analyze AR and AP aging reports, identify delinquent accounts or overdue payments, and implement strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Legal, to address any tax or compliance-related issues and support business initiatives.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, GST guidelines, and accounting standards, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders as needed.

CA with 2-3 years of experience in finance roles with a focus on tax, compliance, GST, AR, and AP functions.
