About the internship:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
2. Training and Development:
Support the design and delivery of training programs for employees at all levels, focusing on topics such as compliance, diversity and inclusion, and professional development.
Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.
3. Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate actions in line with company policies and procedures.
4. HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations.
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
5. Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, keeping them aligned with best practices and industry standards.
6. Special Projects:
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or other senior leaders, contributing to the overall success of the HR department and the organization.
