As an 'BE Developer" (Mobile APIs) you will be responsible for and involved in multiple product and platform developments which would strengthen the business presence of HMCL in connected space.

A purpose driven role for you

As an 'BE Developer (Mobile APIs), you will be responsible and involved in designing in server-side architecture.

  • Contribute to the development of APIs and products while working with a crossfunctional team of Product Manager, Designer, and other Developers
  • Develop and manage wellfunctioning databases and applications.
A Day in the life

The responsibility will include Design server-side architecture.

  • Contribute to the development of APIs and products while working with a cross functional team of Product Manager, Designer, and other Developers
  • Develop and manage well functioning databases and applications.
  • Contribute to all aspects of an agile software development lifecycle including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations
  • Strong hands on and practical working experience with some high level programming language(s), with a high focus on LLD & HLD.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
  • Create security and data protection settings.
  • Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
  • Work with the DevOps teams to ensure a smooth, automated test and deployment for the application.
  • Work with vendors and manage their backend team.
Academic Qualification & Experience

  • BE/ B.
Tech/ M.Tech

  • 812 years in relevant domain
Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience in building API services using Spring Cloud.
  • Expert level understanding of Advance Java and multithreading.
  • Good to have understanding of container orchestration and building microservice using Event Driven Architecture design pattern.
  • Experience with Postgres, mongodb, Redis, and Firebase Realtime database, Kafka, EBS, APM for End to End observability preferably ELK stack
  • Exposure to docker, kubernetes and VMs for deployments.
  • Exposure to protocols such as Http, gRPC, graphQl and MQTT.
  • Experience with AWS services like Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudfront, S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EKS etc.
  • Understanding of patterns and techniques for building scalable back end infrastructure including caching, rate limiting, authentication, and authorization schemes.
  • Experience in building highly scalable and high throughput services with millisecond response times.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
