Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge mobile UI features across Android, iOS, and React Native.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift for iOS, and JavaScript for React Native.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to translate design concepts into functional and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
  • Champion responsiveness and ensure flawless rendering across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Implement effective UI animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement.
  • Optimize application performance for a smooth and responsive user experience.
  • Stay on top of the latest mobile frontend trends and technologies (Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI, React Native libraries, etc.).
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of our mobile UI component library for code reusability.
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.

Android Specific Skills

  • Proven experience in building native Android UIs using Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
  • Solid understanding of Android UI frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with integrating UI components with Android APIs.

React Native Skills

  • Extensive experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, JSX, and React principles.
  • Mastery of popular React Native libraries and APIs for building UIs.

iOS Specific Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience in crafting native iOS UIs using SwiftUI or UIKit.
  • Familiarity with Xcode and the iOS development environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mobile frontend development (Android, iOS, or React Native).
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
