WHAT'S THE ROLE?

The role involves serving as a business partner for the designated Region, focusing on logistics encompassing materials management (MM), warehouse management (WM), and transport management (TM), as well as driving business process excellence. The primary objective is to enhance customer satisfaction and facilitate market growth by efficiently overseeing and continuously enhancing all logistics operations. Operating within Hilti's Local Logistics, the position plays a crucial part in developing, implementing, and standardizing processes to meet regional targets in terms of quality, availability, and profitability.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

- Act as an owner and single point of contact for assigned supply chain topics (MM, WM, TM) for the respective Region

- Define and lead the key logistics priorities and targets for the Region, identify the major opportunities to improve the performances, initiate corrective actions and give support and expertise to the Company in all logistics areas.

- Be the owner of overall Customer Experience for the Region

- Monitor closely key performances and operational measures within the logistics departments in the zone to identify and support in correcting potential target deviations or operational issues.

- Manages service to the customer through meeting / exceeding set service levels, KPIs

- Be the representative and governor of the Regional logistics

- Act as an owner and single point of contact for assigned local processes

- Function as a vital link between the standard process platform and local operations

- Continuously thrive to identify new, more productive approaches to logistics processes

- Lead or contribute as an expert to cross-divisional roll-out / improvement projects

- Independently handle process information, documentation, and reporting

Key Performance Indicators

- Performance on Key Indicators viz. regional availability, warehouse, and transportation reliability

- Overall Customer Experience for the Region

- Collaboration with Sales Team

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

- MBA with overall Experience 3-4 Years

- Supply chain know-how and/or experience in process management

- Highly resourceful in systematic problem solving and analytical thinking

- Very good process and system know-how in multiple Supply Chain processes

- Great attention to detail whilst maintaining focus on the bigger picture

- Cross-functional and local operational view

- Has very good negotiation, communication & interpersonal skills
