About the Team
At Nutanix, you will have the opportunity to be part of the Cloud Data Protection (CDP) team, a dedicated group that focuses on providing expertise in all things disk-related. The team works closely with other departments within the company to share knowledge and collaborate effectively. The CDP team is known for its supportive and inclusive culture, where continuous learning and team collaboration are highly valued.
You will report to a Technical Manager who provides guidance and support to help you succeed in your role. At Nutanix, we offer a hybrid work setup where you are expected to be in the office for three days a week. This setup allows for a balance between in-person collaboration and flexibility for remote work, enabling you to effectively contribute to the team while enjoying the benefits of remote work.
Your Role
- Design and develop reliable, efficient, high-performance software for large-scale enterprise and hybrid cloud
- Develop innovative solutions for customer requirements
- Work on performance, scaling out, and resiliency of distributed storage systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
- Engage with customers to solve production issues
- Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Have familiarity with OS internals and distributed systems
- Demonstrate a hungry and humble attitude within a dynamic team
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field
- Strong understanding of OS internals and distributed systems
- Experience with design and implementation best practices
- Proficiency in Python
