Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Offering Database Administration support for mission-critical applications in Single/Multitenant Architecture.
  • Administering Oracle Databases on various operating systems like Linux and Windows.
  • Handling tasks such as Installing, Upgrading/Patching, and Configuring Oracle Server 12c/19c/21c RAC on multi node systems to meet Availability SLAs.
  • Configuring and managing Oracle Cloud Control.
  • Developing backup strategies to meet SLAs.
  • Implementing Security Best Practices to meet compliance requirements.
  • Creating and supporting database maintenance scripts.
  • Maintaining database design and support documentation.
  • Configuring Oracle HA options like ADG, FSFO, And Goldengate.
  • Providing 24x7 on-call support.

Basic Technologies for Consideration:

  • Ideally seeking Oracle Certified Professionals with over 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration of 12c/19c/21c Oracle 13c Grid Control, Goldengate.
  • Experience in operating systems like Linux.
  • Proficiency in Oracle GI & RAC administration.
  • Strong skills in Unix scripting using BASH/Python.
  • Great at Problem Solving, Communication, Self-starting, working in teams, and taking individual responsibility.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture.
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain Golden Gate replication in single and bi-directional setups.
  • Experience as a Database Administrator with PostgreSQL.
  • Exposure to Oracle implementation in Cloud services like Azure and OCI.
