This position reports to

Product Line Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Performing in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identifying customer requirements, value proposition and unlocking new opportunities for ABB
Translating customer needs into technical requirements and taking the lead within the product development or cost streamlining process
Acting as interface between India market and internal functions such as sales, R&D, SCM etc
Taking the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the future
Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with local sales and marketing
Managing the full life cycle of respective product portfolio

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics engineering or relevant discipline
  • 5-7 years' experience in product management or product marketing are preferred
  • Market knowledge of low voltage energy distribution- products, applications and solutions, such as enclosure
  • Leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation completes the profile
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes
  • Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken
