The Role
The Identity Governance Administration (IGA) Engineer position demands technical expertise in implementing and maintaining enterprise Identity Access Management systems. This role involves supporting, maintaining, and integrating IGA system architecture, frameworks, and integrations in a streamlined, measurable, and consistent manner that closely aligns with business objectives.

The IGA Engineer role requires technical proficiency in implementing and supporting enterprise Identity Access Management platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with identity and security guidelines by monitoring and managing the IGA (Saviynt) platform.
  • Collaborate with compliance experts to ensure that identity frameworks are implemented in accordance with WBD standards.
  • Provide technical leadership in data security and compliance, focusing on implementing security tools and features with minimal business impact.
  • Work closely with internal functions like Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Sourcing to support the IGA platform.
  • Assist in application onboarding in the IGA platform and configure UAR, certification campaigns.

Technical Expertise

  • Design and maintain a sophisticated technical infrastructure that sustains a secure platform safeguarding data both at rest and in transit.
  • Collaborate with developers and business owners to ensure strict adherence to data handling guidelines for data sets, Architectural patterns, and software.
  • Participate in ServiceNow integrations for application access orchestration and workflows.
  • Integrate new HR source systems and various target active directories as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and deploying IAM/IGA solutions in an enterprise setting (e.g., Saviynt (preferred), SailPoint, ForgeRock, Okta, etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) User Lifecycle Processes, including User Activity Monitoring, Access Re-Certification, SOD, Reporting, etc., and IAM Standards.
  • Expertise in onboarding third-party and cloud applications using various federation protocols within and outside the IGA platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically drive identity management as a crucial security component aligned with IAM best practices.
  • Assess an application's user base with the business to determine suitability for Role-Based Access Controls.
  • Identify opportunities for data and process enhancements; contribute to the evolution of the Identity Access Governance function.
  • Exhibit professionalism and effective communication with business partners and team members consistently.
  • Manage day-to-day security controls, including access and control creation, monitoring, security awareness for BCBSMA mainframe, Active Directory, desktops, and remote access.
  • Establish and uphold security governance and policies for business units, products, and access types to pass audit reviews.
  • Ability to Implement/Customize IAM Workflows, Forms, Rules, Provisioning, and Certifications.
