The primary focus will entail applying advanced statistical and machine learning methodologies to derive insights from intricate data sets and propel data-informed decision-making processes.
The Data Scientist will cooperate with multifaceted teams, conduct thorough analyses, construct predictive models, and furnish actionable suggestions to optimize business performance and foster innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities- Hands-on data scientist or machine learning engineer tasked with conceptualizing, designing, producing, modeling, and implementing advanced solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, establish data-driven hypotheses, and pinpoint KPIs for analysis
- Acquire, preprocess, and explore extensive structured and unstructured data from varied sources, encompassing clinical trials, patient records, and genetic data
- Implement advanced statistical analyses, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques to unveil insights and craft models that steer actionable recommendations
- Execute exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and irregularities in the data and propose resolutions to business dilemmas
- Develop and deploy predictive models (e.g., regression, clustering, time series forecasting) and generative models ( e.g. LLMs) to unravel intricate business challenges
- Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to guarantee data accessibility, quality, and dependability for analyses and modeling
- Formulate and demonstrate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through lucid and compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Stay updated on the latest methodologies and optimal practices in statistical analysis, machine learning, and the biopharma sector
Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn for effective presentation of findings Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling Profound comprehension of experimental design, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing methodologies Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to think analytically and creatively to tackle intricate business challenges Superior communication and presentation abilities to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is advantageous Strong organizational and time management aptitudes, with the capability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Experience :

- Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years) in a data science capacity, preferably within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry
- Solid background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling methodologies
- Proficiency in handling and scrutinizing large-scale structured and unstructured data sets utilizing SQL, NoSQL, or equivalent technologies
- Proven ability to develop and apply predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Experience dealing with healthcare data, clinical trials, or related domains is highly beneficial
- Sound understanding of the biopharma sector, including regulatory demands, clinical trial design, and healthcare data origins
