Danfoss is looking for a Procurement Sourcing Project Manager, who will be responsible for leading Sourcing & NPD Projects. In this role you will become part of a global organization within the Danfoss Refrigeration and A/C Controls Division. You will report to the Regional Head of Procurement and be based out of Chennai, India. As Sourcing Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end Project Management with full cooperation of Cross functional team.
Job Responsibilities
Should have strong project management knowledge on various frameworks and methodologies and should be able to drive teams to deliver projects with desired outcome on time.
Develop and execute activities related end to end project management.
Defines the project deliverables, tracks the milestones and schedules, evaluate risks and recommend contingency plan.
Support the project team in executing all functional activities.
Assist project teams in planning, resourcing, managing the transformation programs by sharing successful standard methodologies.
Coordinate with the project team throughout all project management phases.
Support communication with external and internal stakeholders (clients, sponsors, executives, etc.)
Should be a Single Window person to handle both technical & commercial related to supplier process to the Project Team for NPD Projects
Implement and manage changes; Identify, prevent, and manage risks.
Participate in the project delivery review process and meeting.
Contribute to sourcing decisions under consideration of total costs.
Demonstrates ownership culture by initiative in developing plans, execution of those plans, focusing on business results, full transparency, open communication and making bold decisions.
Background & SkillsBachelors degree in engineering/relevant degree along with Procurement Project Management background
8 to 10 years of experience specific to running Global & Local Procurement Projects
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Fluency in Excel, Power point & Soft Skills
Positive and open-minded attitude with solid communication skills in English
Dedicated, goal-oriented and thrive on working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Hands on experience in SAP Hana, SAP BI, and reporting tools
