About the Role
DoorDash is building the world's most reliable on-demand, logistics engine for delivery. We are continuing to grow rapidly and expanding our Engineering offices globally We are looking for Android Engineers to build and maintain a large-scale scale 24×7 global infrastructure system of telemetry and experimentation that powers DoorDash's 3-sided marketplace of Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers.
We're looking for Android Engineers who want to work on building an app that's used by millions of people and critical to local entrepreneurs building their online presence. We've seen significant growth in our codebase and number of developers and we'd love for you to bring a piece of your culture and experiences into ours so that we can continue to improve our processes and architecture. We are building the Data Platform team in India and you will have an opportunity to be part of a founding team with a greater opportunity for impact where you can help grow the team and shape the roadmap for the data platform at DoorDash. You will directly to the Engineering Manager.

- You have 5 years+ of Android development experience.
- You have experience with infrastructure and automated releases.
- You have a product mindset and apply that to how you would build out platform services.
- You love people, systems, and software and are competent working with all three.
- You're curious about experimentation, telemetry domains and like to dive deep into system architectures.
- You are an organized and excellent written and verbal communicator.
