Job Purpose:
As Vice President, Corporate IT & Information Security you will be accountable for the overall Corporate IT strategy across infrastructure, network and telecoms, end user compute, security, business systems services and service management.
You will ensure the delivery of these services align to business unit technology, strategic road maps and the overall strategic mission of the company through enterprise level architecture framework, governance and best practice.
Drive leadership and engagement with business partners and clients, ensuring people, product/technologies, partners, and processes are in place to deliver internal and external facing IT services in the required locations.
Deliver corporate IT quality of service and IT financial budget ensuring the required metrics and key performance indicators are in place and the service management functions are initiative-taking in their management of service.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic planning
Define the Corporate IT strategy framework to support the business needs.
Provide the implementation capability to deliver the IT strategic plans.
Information governance
Establish and communicate the organization's information management strategy, developing as an integral part of the business unit's strategy.
Innovation
Lead a culture that encourages innovation, risk-taking and collaboration.
Information Systems co-ordination
Establish the organization's strategy for managing information and communicates the policies, standards, procedures, and methods necessary to implement the strategy.
Set the strategy for management of technology resources, including infrastructure, business systems, security and service management functions and promotes the opportunities that technology presents to the employing organization, including the feasibility of change and its impact upon the business.
Ensures IT financial operations best practice is implemented to manage the consumption and spend of IT resources is within the business units budget targets.
Directs the development, implementation, delivery, and support of an enterprise information security strategy aligned with the business strategy.
Secures organizational resources to execute the information security strategy
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to influence and gain collaboration from and build rapport with diverse groups at all levels and disciplines,
Identify key issues and adapt tactics to facilitate successful implementation of corporate initiatives.
Knowledge of information technology computer systems and software and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations.
Knowledge and Experience:
Proven strategic leadership in ICT and previous exposure to technical management roles in ICT.
Demonstrate the ability to assume significant senior-level leadership and project management responsibilities in a large-scale and complex global organization.
Proven leader in applying technology in a mission-critical systems environment, with considerable experience in initiating technological change to improve business processes and performance.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Software Engineering, Computer Science etc.) or a related study, or equivalent related experience
