Key Responsibilities :-

  1. Develop and maintain containerized applications using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  2. Design, build and maintain reusable and platform agnostic artifacts for deploying complex applications to Openshift, AKS and EKS.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and ensure application runtime robustness.
  4. Implement and optimize containerization and orchestration strategies to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
  5. Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in the application containerization space in a timely manner.
  6. Working with containerization ecosystem such as JFROG, Datadog, Grafana, Splunk etc. to ensure application resiliency.
  7. Implement and maintain secure application development and deployment practices, including security audits, vulnerability assessments, and code scanning.
  8. Build security scanning of containerized applications at various stages of the application software development lifecycle.
  9. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of containerized applications.
  10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to containerization, orchestration, and secure application development.
  11. Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and sharing knowledge and best practices.

Additional Job Description

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in containerization and orchestration of full stack web applications.
  3. Experience in bringing innovation using GenAI capabilities.
  4. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native development and deployment using AppServices, Azure Functions, and API Gateway.
  5. Experience migrating monolith applications to containerization platforms such as Openshift, AKS, EKS.
  6. Knowledge of OpenAI and Azure Cognitive services is an added advantage.
  7. Solid understanding of secure application development and deployment practices.
  8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
