We're hiring a Principal Product Manager, reporting to a Senior Group Product Manager. You love working with customers and solving complex enterprise problems. You have prior success driving strategies focused on customer retention and success. You can inspire a team through setting clear goals, making decisions, and communicating crisply to all audiences. You are passionate about working with a multi-skilled, geographically distributed team to build and deliver mission-critical capabilities for customers. You're comfortable building relationships across product teams and departments to make sure we are all on the same page.

What you'll do

Collaborate with other team members to define a vision, strategy and form a compelling product roadmap that makes Confluence a scalable and trusted product for our enterprise customersPartner with other Atlassian teams to help customers transition from on-premise to cloud solutions following our company priorities and strategySolve unique challenges, partnering with engineering, design, marketing, data and support specialists to ship projects and lead your teams to success.
Your background

8+ years product management experience, working on mature products for enterprise customersExperience defining the product vision, strategy, and delivering value that solves problems for enterprise customersStrength in prioritising opportunities, balancing the needs of our customers with those of our business, and communicating the rationale behind your decisions, including to executive leadershipTechnical fluency to understand and deliver on complex, enterprise-level requirements, with a focus on security, compliance or administrationExperience with building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organisationComfortable defining and tracking important business and success metricsYou are customer-centric and you enjoy working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful experiencesExperience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences

It's great, but not required if you have:

Computer science or a related technical degreeExperience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)Previous experience in the fields of project management, collaboration, and enterprise software.
