We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to innovate in the data security domain.


Normalyze is at the forefront of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), enabling organizations to secure data across multi-cloud, SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises environments.

Our platform addresses the challenges of complex data landscapes—including data lakes, shadow data, and Generative AI—by rapidly discovering, classifying, and visualizing the total data attack surface.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to drive product management efforts in India.

This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional skills in backlog management, competitive analysis, customer relationship management, and inter-departmental collaboration.


The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving product strategy and execution in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to product vision and strategic development processes. Analyze market trends and perform competitive intelligence to guide the product roadmap.
  • Sprint Planning and Management: Collaborate with Technical Product Managers to break down large epics into manageable tasks and user stories, focusing on execution priorities.
  • Maintain and refine a prioritized list of epics for future releases, evaluating business value, risk, and dependencies. Lead sessions with the VP and Product Manager to review, refine, and reprioritize the product backlog, aligning with strategic objectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead customerfacing activities including product pitches, demonstrations, and discussions. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, translating customer needs into product strategies.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary training and tools to increase product knowledge and improve sales effectiveness. Develop materials and sessions for sales training.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop clear and effective product messaging, contribute to blogs, and communicate product updates to the market.
  • RFP/RFI and POC Assistance: Lead responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring that all customer requirements are addressed efficiently. Assist in managing and supporting proof of concept (POC) efforts with potential customers.
  • Crossfunctional collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure alignment and delivery of a unified product vision.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in technology, with at least 3 years specifically in cloud, SaaS, and data security
  • CSPM, DSPM, CNAPP, SSPM, Application Security
  • Hands on experience in AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or SaaS applications like M365, Salesforce, Zoom
  • Proven track record in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Strong expertise in sprint planning and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence, customer engagement, and developing sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and willingness to think outside the box
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
