We're seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our WiZ Connected Team in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer day-to-day support for IoT Cloud operations
  • Test and enhance existing infrastructure for reliability, performance, and efficiency
  • Engage in the team's on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 services, monitoring Cloud health and resolving any disruptions
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to introduce new Cloud services and update existing ones
  • Assist internal users in troubleshooting issues and analyzing logs
  • Uphold and enhance top-tier security standards
  • Evaluate potential risks associated with changes and ensure high availability within the system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure and Cloud Administration
  • Proficiency in managing applications on public cloud platforms like AWS
  • Solid grasp of coding and scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Intermediate proficiency in Linux, Docker, and both SQL (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Redis)
  • Familiarity with MQTT protocol, message brokers, and stream processing tools, such as Apache Kafka, is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Zabbix monitoring and AWS CloudWatch setup
  • Experience with IaS management tools like AWS CloudFormation, CDK, and configuration management tools like Ansible
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently or collaboratively
