The challenge

Adobe's application security organization leads the charter of ensuring security is embedded seamlessly as part of product development. We have enterprise-level applications for centralizing code signing, and aim to expand is functionally by creating an enterprise-level malware scanning solution. As we scale our operations, we are looking for passionate engineer to help us architect and develop solutions on the cloud to achieve better scalability, and security as well as a reduction in operational overhead. We also look for an individual who can migrate existing enterprise-level solutions to the cloud making sure all the SLAs are met. Eventually, we would also like him to participate in the platform development for malware scanning and supply chain mitigations. If you have a passion for designing and developing large-scale cloud applications and services using secure coding practices for a large organization, this position is for you

What you will do

• Designing and implementing cloud architectures for critical and high-volume services
• Define implementation strategy for new as well as existing on prem applications on cloud
• Creating highly available, secure cloud architecture
• Work on new services/technologies, like supply chain security and malware scanning, from ideation to implementation

What you need to succeed

• Strong technical background in cloud architecture and analytical abilities, with experience developing services based on Java/Python
• An interest in and ability to learn new technologies.
• Demonstrated results working in a diverse, global, team-focused environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• Advanced programming skills in python/java (Java framework)
• 7-12 year of experience in software industry
• At least 6 years' experience in cloud and cloud security
• At least 2 years' experience as a supply chain engineer in a similar industry.
• Solid hands on experience on cloud/cloud security related processes..
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Superb collaboration and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborating with product and architecture teams to evaluate and implement new cloud services basis requirements
• Serve as a cloud subject matter expert regarding cloud and cloud security tools, applications, and processes
• Developing, configuring and deploying cloud monitoring tools and scripts for applications/systems
• Design and implement cloud security standards and best practices
• Experience writing code, designing systems and data workflows, optimizing data processing algorithms, and systems to support security data analytics.
• Automate security testing and auditing to prevent and catch issues before they reach production
• Recommending changes to the application architecture or design to improve the performance and efficiency of SaaS or PaaS products
• Perform optimization and tuning of cloud monitoring systems and processes
• Respond to and evaluate alerts and events from security tools
• Develop event response documentation processes
• Monitoring and analysing cloud resource usage to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Developing and implementing automation scripts to reduce repetitive tasks and eliminate human error

Good To have below (Supply Chain and Malware Analysis knowledge ) –

• Evaluating existing supply chain processes to identify areas that need optimization.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive, secured and compliant supply chain strategy.
• Collaborating on supply chain procedures, including inventory management, warehousing, automation, systems integration, and distribution.
• Collecting and interpreting analytical and performance data to determine supply chain KPIs.
• Recommending and implementing supply chain improvements, as well as documenting processes.
• Customizing and deploying efficient supply chain management software.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Keeping abreast of developments in supply chain engineering.
• Supporting malware analysis systems and tools
• Participate in attack post-mortems to improve the team's response to threats
• Provide responses and explanations to customers in a positive, professional manner
• Help us define the landscape, prevalence, and evolution of messaging abuse, threats, and attacks by participating in future requirements definition discussions of our products
